Eligibility Criteria to get admission to GAIMS

The Eligibility Criteria to get admission to Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj:

• The candidate must be of 17 years or above as of 31st December of the year of admission.
• The candidate must have completed Higher Secondary School with a 10+2 degree in Science stream with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as their primary subject.
• Students who belong to the general category with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible, for SC/ST minimum mark is 40%, and 45% for OBC Category.

Course Duration and Admission Procedure in GAIMS:

• The course duration for pursuing MBBS from Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj is 5 and half years (including 12 months of internship).
• The internship consists of practical teaching in specialties like medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, obstetrics, child health, community health, surgery, and various other specialties.
• Admission to MBBS program at GAIMS is approved based on marks acquired in the NEET entrance exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• The guidelines are provided by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• GAIMS accepts students through State counseling conducted by The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education in NEET 2024.
