Eligibility –

Undergraduate Program (MBBS)-

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.
• Must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for physically challenged candidates).
• The candidate must have qualified the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) examination conducted at the national level.

Postgraduate Programs (MD / MS) –

• For admission to postgraduate medical programs, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Must complete a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
• Must qualify the NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate) examination.

Additional Documents Required for NRI Candidates

Candidates applying under the NRI quota must submit the following additional documents:

• Affidavit of the person who is NRI and the sponsor.
• Proof that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport and Visa of the sponsor).
• Proof of relationship between the NRI sponsor and the candidate as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India order in W.P.(C) No. 689/2017 – Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Others vs Union of India & Others dated 22-08-2017.
• Affidavit from the sponsor stating that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate - Embassy Certificate of the sponsor.
