Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed University) Medical College, Sangli was established in the year 2005 with a facility for 100 admissions for M.B.B.S. degree per year. Presently seats offered to undergraduates to pursue M.B.B.S are 150 per year. This Medical College also offers PG courses, admitting 67 candidates per year in 17 special departments. The college is spread over a 2.5 lakh sq. ft. area and housed in a multi-storey, well-ventilated, and spacious building. The college is well-equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and museums and has become a hub for academic excellence. With the goal of imparting education to train Indian medical graduates with global significance, Competency Based Medical Education Curriculum (CBME) was introduced from the year 2019-2020.
