Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College, Aurangabad was established in the year 1990 under the leadership of Shri Kamalkishorji Kadam chairman of MGM Trust, MGM Medical College and Hospital. This college was started with the vision and desire of being one of the best medical colleges, hospitals, and research centers in Maharashtra and all over the country. Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College, Aurangabad is the constituent unit of MGMIHS (MGM Institute of Health and Sciences) Deemed to be University in Navi Mumbai. MGMIHS is accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC in the year 2014. In the year 1996, the MBBS course was initially started in this college with an intake of 100 students. Later in the year 2011, the intake capacity of MBBS had been increased to 150 seats, which was approved by MCI (Medical Council of India).
