About R. V. College of Engineering

R. V. College of Engineering was established in the year 1963; the Campus is spread over an area of 16 acres, and it currently offers 15 Under Graduate programmes in Engineering and 21 Master's Degree programmes along with that, the institute provides Doctoral programmes as well. The seats offered by the institute for undergraduate programmes and postgraduate programmes in Engineering are over 1200 every year. RVCE is one of the first self-financing engineering institutes in the country. At present, R. V. College of Engineering is rated among the top ten private Engineering colleges in the country. The institute has been ranked 49th in NIRF last year.

RSST (Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust) runs this institution, it is a non-profit trust. RSST runs more than 25 institutions and R. V. College of Engineering is the flagship institute under this trust. Today, RVCE is recognized as one of the leading technical colleges in the nation. The college also has a dedicated and highly qualified faculty. The faculty in the institution provides a perfect ambiance to stimulate the training-learning process which helps in presenting the most skilled and disciplined Engineers to the recruiters. Eligibility criteria to get direct admission in RVCE 2024

The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing B.E and getting direct admission to R. V. College of Engineering are as follows:

• In the 10th standard, candidates must have scored a minimum of 70% marks in both Science and Mathematics separately.
• In 11th, he/she must have acquired a minimum of 65% marks in both Mathematics and Physics separately.
• At 12th standard, students must have obtained at least 60% marks in both Mathematics and Physics separately.
• Students must have appeared for COMEDK/KCET/JEE-Main or any other national-level entrance exams for getting admission to professional courses.
• Students must have acquired minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam as per the requirement of the Institution.

• Candidates must present the following documents at the time of admission:
• Original Admission Letter issued by COMEDK/Management
• Original Mark Sheet of 10th and 12th
• Transfer Certificate (if applicable)

R.V. College of Engineering is spread over 16.85 acres, and lifts and ramps in every department have been provided by the Campus to help the differently-abled and sick students. Almost all the classrooms of the college are provided with multimedia projectors as well as internet facilities. Along with that, every academic block on the Campus has secured Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Food Court of the college is spread over 500 square meters and it is designed to cater to more than 1000 students and staff. A college canteen is a place where students gather together not only to have food but also to exchange opinions and thoughts.

The campus is 12 kilometers away from the heart of the city and over 20 kilometers from suburban areas of the city; the college provides transportation facilities for both students as well as staff. There are enough buses that ensure the transportation of approximately one thousand students. There are two separate buses for the college faculty.
